NEMICON ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

General Guidelines

1. Eligibility:
Open to all undergraduates and postgraduates from all medical, surgical and allied specialties.

2. Submission Deadline:
All abstracts must be submitted by September 15, 2024. 12:00PM (GMT+5:30)

3. Format:
Abstracts should be written in English.
Word limit: 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Line Spacing: 1.5.

4. Content:

1. Title (in bold, 14 pt font)
2. Authors (full names, affiliations, and email addresses)
3. Background
4. Methods
5. Results
6. Conclusion

5. Submission:
Abstracts should be submitted via email to nemiconabstract@gmail.com

6. Notification:
Acceptance notifications will be sent by September 25, 2024.

Poster Presentations

1. Format:
Posters should be in portrait format, with a maximum size of 36 inches x 48 inches. Abstracts selected for poster presentations should be prepared for a 6-minute presentation followed by a 2-minutes Q&A session

2. Content:
Must include the abstract, along with relevant figures, tables, and images.

3. Presentation:
Presenters must be available during the designated poster session at the allotted time to discuss their work.

Podium Presentations

1. Format:
Abstracts selected for podium presentations should be prepared for a 8-minute presentation followed by a 4-minute Q&A session.
2. Content:
Presentations should be prepared in PowerPoint or equivalent software.
3. Presentation:
Presenters should ensure their presentations are concise and focused on key findings.
